PGY1
Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston
I am a PGY-1 Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). My journey in medicine began at the University of Balamand in Lebanon, where I earned my medical degree. From early on, I developed a strong interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology, both in clinical practice and research, which continues to shape my career path.
My commitment to women’s health has been a driving force behind my work. I recognize that, despite significant advancements in the field, there remain critical gaps that require further exploration and innovation to truly enhance the well-being of women. This understanding fuels my passion for contributing to meaningful research and advancing clinical care.
I am particularly interested in Maternal–Fetal Medicine (MFM), with a focus on high-risk pregnancies and improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. Through my training and research, I aim to bridge clinical care with innovative approaches that address both medical and social determinants of health in pregnancy.
With a strong academic background and dedication to this specialty, I am determined to continue making a positive impact in OBGYN—both through my clinical training and my ongoing research efforts.
