Shira Gat, DMD, is a sixth-year medical student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. She previously earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with highest honors (summa cum laude) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed a B.Med.Sc. in Medical Sciences. Her current academic interests include developing experience in clinical research and evidence-based medicine, with a growing interest in maternal–fetal health.
