Mayra A. Shafique, MD, MS (she/her/hers)

Mayra Alejandra Shafique is a current PGY-3 at Univeristy of Michigan in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, and raised in Sacramento, California. She attended UC Davis where she obtained a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. She also holds a Master of Science in Nutritional Biology from UC Davis. She attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. On her free time she is exploring the outdoors with her two young children.
