Delphina Maldonado is a medical student in her final year at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, applying into Obstetrics and Gynecology with an interest in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Originally from Westchester, New York, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and spent a year conducting research in an Alzheimer’s disease laboratory at Columbia University before beginning medical school.
At NYU, Delphina has been actively involved in clinical research and quality improvement projects aimed at optimizing perinatal outcomes and promoting equitable maternal care. She is passionate about combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate patient-centered care, particularly in the management of high-risk pregnancies. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops, running, and spending time with her family and friends.
