Dr. Keenan-Devlin is a Medical Anthropologist with expertise in mixed methods translational and implementation healthcare research. Her NIH-funded translational projects include prospective pregnancy cohort studies of psychosocial stress, inflammatory biomarkers in circulation and placental tissue, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Dr. Keenan-Devlin leads implementation projects of breastfeeding peer counseling funded by AHRQ and PCORI and evaluates the impact of community health workers in improving psychosocial and instrumental support for better birth and postpartum health outcomes.
