Dr. Emily Schlussel Markovic is a maternal fetal medicine fellow at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Emily graduated from medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she received the Mount Sinai Scholars as Leaders scholarship. She completed Obstetrical and Gynecology residency at Mount Sinai West, where she served as Education Administrative Chief Resident and was selected to receive the Medical Student Teaching Award for her dedication to learners. Emily has presented her research nationally and authored multiple publications. Some of her interests include maternal diabetes mellitus, optimizing labor and delivery management, and reproductive ethics.
