Dr. Ran Zhang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center, where she conducts research foucsed on improving maternal health among underserved population. Dr. Zhang earned her PhD in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research integrates quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate the multilevel factors that cause maternal health disparities. Her areas of interest include access to care, postpartum care, health disparities, behavioral interventions, program evaluation, and vaccine hesitancy.
