Alexandra (Ally) Turco is a third-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University pursuing a dual degree in Population Medicine (MD-MSc). After completing her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, she worked on cardiovascular health initiatives at Mount Sinai Hospital in collaboration with the NYC public school system and completed Doula training. She is currently working on a periantal Collaborative Care initiative out of Women and Infants Hospital and plans to apply into OB/GYN. Areas of interests include Perinatal Substance Use and Mental Health, Reproductive Justice, and Street Medicine. Outside of medicine, Ally enjoys hiking, antiquing, and spending time with her cat.
