Dr. Haviva Kobany, MD is currently a first year Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at the University of New Mexico. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno for medical school and matched into obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She is thrilled to have matched in MFM this past year and has enjoyed her first few months of fellowship! Her research interests include maternal obesity and glucose tolerance testing, microplastics and nanoplastics within human placental tissue, and trauma informed care within obstetrics.
