Maya Sahtout earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis and is currently a second year medical student at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. She has an academic and research background in the life sciences, with particular interest in women’s health and pregnancy-related conditions.
Her work is guided by a commitment to advancing patient-centered care for underserved communities and contributing to evidence-based approaches in maternal-fetal medicine. Maya is passionate about integrating research with clinical practice to improve outcomes for mothers and infants, and she looks forward to building a career at the intersection of research, education, and compassionate medical care.
