My name is Satjeet Deol Chauhan and currently I am an OB/GYN resident at BronxCare Health System,NY. With a distinguished academic background including previous residency training in OBGYN followed by a Fetal medicine fellowship in India, I am committed to improving patient care through clinical practice and research. My research interests include fetal growth abnormalities, prenatal diagnosis, obesity, preeclampsia and Intrapartum Ultrasound.
Prior to my current training, I worked as research fellow at Maimonides Medical Center, Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine followed by Preliminary general surgery resident at Mayo Clinic, Phoenix. I have always been compelled to serve others, particularly those who are at socioeconomic disadvantage. Working in my current residency has provided me with unique opportunities to serve a high risk and socioeconomic disadvantaged population and be exposed to the varieties of pathology within our patient population.I care deeply about quality and safety, currently working on few QI projects and I am member of our Resident Quality Council.
Driven by particular interest in maternal fetal medicine, I am actively involved in research and have presented at multiple national as well as International conferences.I am dedicated to integrating research, clinical practice, and innovation to improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.
