Katelyn J. Rittenhouse, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Global Women’s Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work focuses on expanding access to high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound in resource-limited settings, both in the United States and globally. She leads multidisciplinary research integrating artificial intelligence, point-of-care ultrasonography, and implementation science to improve maternal and fetal outcomes. Her broader interests include capacity building, clinician training, and developing scalable technologies that improve access to essential prenatal diagnostics.
