Jordan A. McKinney, MD, MBA, is a Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellow at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, where he also served as Academic Chief Resident.
His clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, placenta accreta spectrum, and maternal comorbidities impacting pregnancy. His research focuses on systematic reviews and meta-analyses, quality and safety in obstetric care, and the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into clinical practice.
Dr. McKinney has presented his work at national and international meetings, including the ISUOG World Congress, SMFM Global Congress, and multiple SMFM Annual Pregnancy Meetings. His research has been published in leading journals such as the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, AJOG MFM, Academic Medicine, and the American Journal of Perinatology. He currently serves as Chief Academic Fellow (2025–2027) and is passionate about advancing maternal health at the local, national, and global levels, combating human trafficking, and promoting healthcare equity.
