University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine
Nidhi Bhide is a medical student at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine with a strong academic and clinical interest in obstetrics and gynecology. Her scholarly works have centered around women’s health, understanding factors that contribute to maternal and infant morbidity, and how substance use disorders affect peripartum maternal outcomes. Driven by a passion for service and informed by the clinical and educational experiences in and around Tampa’s diverse patient population, Nidhi is especially interested in improving healthcare access and quality for underserved populations and in resource-limited settings. Thus, she is particularly interested in how structural and clinical determinants intersect to influence maternal health outcomes. She is motivated by a commitment to improving patient safety and advancing evidence-based practices
