Dr. Alexandra "Lexie" Hammerquist is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinical fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. After completing a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Ave Maria University, she graduated from Creighton University of School of Medicine, and completed OB/GYN training at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Her research focuses on Placenta Accreta Spectrum screening, identification and prevention of prenatal environmental exposures, and Preterm Prelabor Rupture of Membranes management, with the goal of advancing evidence-based strategies to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.
