Lori Gawron, MD, MPH, FACOG is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah where she is the Associate Director of the Family Planning Fellowship. In addition, she is the Gynecology Section Chief at the Salt Lake City VA and a staff physician at Planned Parenthood Association of Utah. She is a specialist in complex family planning with clinical and research interests in addressing reproductive health disparities for vulnerable populations, including women with chronic health conditions and women Veterans. She serves as site PI for clinical trials funded by by the NICHD Contraceptive Clinical Trial Network and industry. She is the current ACOG Utah Section Treasurer and an active advocate for reproductive health access.
