Itai Atar, MD, MPH, is a resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lis Maternity Hospital, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Israel. He completed both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, where he received multiple awards for academic excellence.
Dr. Atar’s clinical and research interests focus on obstetrics, maternal outcomes, and reproductive medicine. His research has examined hematologic changes and neonatal outcomes following elective cesarean delivery, with a particular emphasis on twin gestations. He has published and contributed to peer-reviewed studies in fields including maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive medicine, and clinical data science.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Atar previously served as a team leader of medical annotators in the Microsoft Israel R&D Center and has been actively involved in academic and community leadership roles.
