Charlotte Laurel, BSN, RN, is a third-year medical student at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. Previously worked as an intensive care nurse, where she gained experience in trauma and critical care. Her research interests include maternal morbidity, immunology, and trauma systems, and she is actively involved in several ongoing clinical and implementation science projects. She plans to pursue a career in emergency medicine with a focus on critical care medicine.
