Eric Broni is a resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut. He received his medical degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Dr. Broni then obtained a concurrent MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Maternal and Child Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Subsequently, Eric undertook two postdoctoral research fellowships at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
His research interests focus on cardio-obstetrics, substance use disorders in pregnancy, the intersection of obesity and cardiometabolic health outcomes in women, and health disparities.
