Amanda Baucom, MD,MBA; Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow, University of Cincinnati
Dr. Baucom is originally from Marshville, NC, a small town east of Charlotte. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from East Carolina University. She went on to obtain her MD/MBA at the Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Baucom then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati in 2023 before beginning her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is now in her last year of fellowship.
Her clinical and research interests center on periviable and preterm birth, with a particular focus on evaluating outcomes and conducting cost-effectiveness analyses to inform evidence-based care during these critical periods. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling with her husband, daughter, and yorkie.
