Carolyn C Green, BFA, is a fourth-year medical student at Oregon Health & Science University. Originally from Southwest Washington, she studied Industrial Design at the University of Notre Dame and began her career working in the design industry in Chicago before transitioning to clinical research at Northwestern University. After completing a post-baccalaureate program in pre-medicine, she managed a research team at the University of Washington Multiple Sclerosis Center before beginning medical school in 2022. Her research interests include placental abnormalities in pregnancy, population health, bioethics, and the intersection of medicine and the humanities. Carolyn is applying to Ob/Gyn residency this year and looks forward to a career in maternal-fetal medicine or academic generalist practice.
