Adam Lewkowitz, MD, MPHS is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Brown University / Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island (WIH). Before earning his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Lewkowitz was a Fulbright Research Scholar in Mexico and Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholar in China. He completed OBGYN residency at the University of California, San Francisco and MFM fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. During fellowship, he completed a Masters in Population Health Sciences, with a focus in Health Services research. He joined Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2019. Dr. Lewkowitz is an independently funded physician scientist whose research interests center on designing, optimizing, and examining the effectiveness of person-centered, technology-based intereventions on postpartum outcomes, particularly among those with hypertension or who are at risk of perinatal mood or anxiety disorders.
