This luncheon roundtable, led by experts in prenatal genetics, will provide practical, actionable strategies for integrating whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and whole-exome sequencing (WES) into maternal–fetal medicine (MFM) practice. Aimed at clinicians navigating the expanding role of genomic testing in pregnancy, the session will: 1) review the latest advances and evidence in prenatal WGS/WES; 2) outline clinical indications and decision-making pathways for when to offer testing; 3) detail best practices for pre-test and post-test counseling; 4) demystify result interpretation and dissect the anatomy of a genomic report (including variant classification, incidental findings, and limitations); and 5) share practical strategies to optimize insurance authorization and reimbursement.
