Dr. Claire Jensen is currently a second year maternal-fetal medicine fellow at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She spent 5 years in both private practice and academic general OB-GYN before fellowship in maternal fetal medicine. During this time, she completed an MSCR degree at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Special interests include cardiometabolic health, access to obstetric care for underserved populations, and complex surgical and medical obstetric conditions. Dr. Jensen is developing expertise in life course research, focusing on pregnancy as a window to future health of mothers and their children, particularly within the realms of cardiovascular health and exposures in pregnancy.
