Adam T. Sandlin, M.D. in an Associate Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Sandlin maintains a busy clinical MFM practice caring for the most complicated obstetrical patients while also training OB/GYN residents and MFM fellows. Dr. Sandlin started the multidisciplinary Placenta Accreta Spectrum Program at UAMS and serves as the UAMS Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) Care Team Leader. The UAMS PAS care program is the only PAS program in the state of Arkansas and serves as the referral center for PAS mangagement for the state and surrounding area. He has published (or co-authored) multiple peer-reviewed articles in the area of PAS and its management. He is a member of the Pan-American Society for Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS2). Dr. Sandlin also serves as the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Director at UAMS.
Dr. Sandlin received his medical degree from UAMS in 2007. He completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UAMS in 2011 and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at UAMS in 2014. He is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
