Irina Cassimatis, MD, MSc, is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, and serves as Medical Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. She completed her residency at the University of Utah and her Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her clinical and academic work focuses on congenital syphilis prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and health equity initiatives addressing language access for Ukrainian refugee populations and food security.
