Jack Ludmir MD is the former Chief Physician Executive of the new Temple Women and Families Hospital and Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
He is the former Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health, and past Executive Vice President for Equity and Associate Provost for Community Affairs at Jefferson.
Prior to his tenure at Jefferson, Dr. Ludmir was Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital and Vice Chair of the Penn academic department for 18 years and currently is an Emeritus Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ludmir is a co-founder of Puentes de Salud, and founder of Latina Clinic Health Services, the Jefferson Latina Clinic and more recently The Philadelphia Collaborative for Health Equity, organizations dedicated to providing access and care to vulnerable and marginalized populations.
