Dr. Emily Szmuilowicz is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She received her medical training at Harvard Medical School, completed her residency and Endocrinology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and completed a Master’s degree in Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her clinical focus is management of diabetes in pregnancy and use of diabetes technology during pregnancy. She serves as the Endocrine Director of the multidisciplinary Northwestern Diabetes and Pregnancy program and serves on the 2025 American Diabetes Association Professional Practice Committee. In addition, she serves as the Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship at Northwestern University.
