Therese Cooper, MS, RDMS

Chief Learning Officer
American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, Maryland, United States

Therese Cooper is the Chief Learning Officer at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), where she leads the organization’s practice accreditation and education strategy and innovation. Therese holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and began her career as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, with clinical experience in the radiology setting focusing both the emergency and outpatient setting. She advanced into educational and leadership roles, training future sonographers and coordinating clinical rotations before transitioning back clinically into the MFM practice setting. These experiences laid the foundation for her nearly 15-year tenure at the AIUM, where she continues to champion clinical quality and education.
