Heather Frey, MD, MSCI is an Associate Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Mediciine (MFM) at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center where she serves as the MFM Fellowship Director. Dr. Frey received her medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Medical University. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ohio State University. Her MFM fellowship training was completed at Washington Universtiy in St. Louis where she also obtained additional training in clinical research and received a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation degree. Dr. Frey's area of expertise is clinical obstetrics with a focus on complex maternal medical conditions and labor management. She has over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves as a regional editor for AJOG Global Reports. Dr. Frey was previously the guest editor of an issue of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology focused on Liver Disease in Pregnancy. She is passionate about education and has received multiple teaching awards.
