Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellow
David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
Hello! My name is Kimberly Huynh, MD, and I am one of the first-year MFM Fellows at UCLA. I am thrilled to be starting my journey as an MFM. My journey started where I grew up, in a rural area in Washington. From there I completed college at the University of Washington and medical school at Washington State University. During medical school, I worked in rural communities optimizing obstetric delivery systems and fell in love with obstetrics. I moved to Los Angeles, CA to complete my residency at Harbor-UCLA. There I cared for an underserved population in a safety-net hospital and found my passion to become an MFM. I am fortunate enough to have matched at my phenomenal fellowship program, UCLA. I am interested in all things related to high-risk obstetrics, but especially diabetes, cardio-obstetrics, preterm birth, ultrasound, and needlework. I hope to learn and grow for as long as I can and hope to touch the patients I may never meet through my dedication in clinical research, patient care, and advocacy.
