Dr. Anika C. Valery was raised in Orlando, Florida, and pursued her undergraduate education at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She continued her education in the Northeast, attending Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, where she discovered her passion for women’s health and advocacy. Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, racial disparities in women’s health, and patient education initatives. She is currently a second year Obsterics and Gynecology resident at Baylor College of Medicine.
