Ryan Duggal is a first year MFM fellow at the University of California in San Francisco. He completed residency at Duke Univeristy Hospital and an addiction fellowship at the University of Utah. He then worked as an OBGYN for the Indian Health Service on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and was a Gilstrap Fellow for the CDC Foundation. He is board certified in OBGYN and addiction medicine. His research interests include substance use disorders in pregnancy, complex maternal mental health, rural obstetric care, and health policy.
