AnneMarie Opipari, MD is a third year fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine at The University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor Michigan, USA. Her area of clinical and research interest is in placenta accreta spectrum, specifically around optimizing patient outcomes and the systems of care for PAS patients. Additional research interest include stratetgies to decrease postpartum hemorrhage in the general obstetric population and surgical device innovation. She helps to run the placenta accreta program with mentors Molly Stout, MD, Jourdan Triebwasser, MD, Jennifer Cate, MD, Aimee Rolston MD, MD and Shitanshu Uppal, MD, at the University of Michigan. She will join the faculty at University of Hawaii at Kapiʻolani Women and Childrens hospital following graduation.
