I am Ryan W. Wong, MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I am a PGY3 Internal Medicine Resident going into Cardiology. My clinical/reserach interests are Cardio-Ob, Critical Care, and Mechanical Circulatory Support. I want to continue to bridge the gap in maternal fetal care by seeking to understand the needs and concerns MFM colleuges when the need for mechanical circulatory support is needed and the postpartum plan for heart failure medications/devices to best meet the needs of new mothers.
