Abbey Pfister Donahue, MD, MPH is a Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellow at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, completing fellowship training through August 2026. She received both her MD and MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia. Her research and academic interests focus on iron deficiency without anemia, perinatal hematology, maternal morbidity, and implementation-focused improvements in obstetric care.
