Rémi BESSON, PhD in applied mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique. Co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Sonio, MIT under 35 innovator award. My main current research focus lies in computer vision for fetal ultrasound, including quality control and anomaly detection purposes (fetal heart and fetal brain). On the past few years I have also been working on mathematical modeling for rare disease diagnosis via probabilistic models and semantic artificial intelligence using medical ontologies.
