Chinonye 'Nonye' Imo was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College where she majored in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and minored in African Studies. She then attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She stayed at UT Southwestern/Parkland for residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was elected an administrative chief in her final year. She is a member of the AOA society. She is currently a second year MFM fellow at the Univesity of Chicago.
