Abigail Rex is a fourth-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin before beginning medical training.
During medical school, she developed a strong interest in reproductive pathophysiology and a passion for caring for patients within obstetrics and gynecology. Her scholarly work has focused on maternal-fetal medicine, including prenatal diagnosis and early screening research.
Abigail is currently applying to OB/GYN residency programs and hopes to continue contributing to the field through both research and advocacy, with particular interests in maternal-fetal medicine and health equity.
