Kathryne Kostamo, MD is a third year Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellow at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. Upon graduation of residency, Dr. Kostamo worked as an academic generalist OB/GYN at Albany Medical Center with interest in obstetrics and family planning care and enjoyed teaching at the medical student and resident level. To enhance her knowledge and care of complex pregnancies, she is completing her training through Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship. She has ongoing quality improvement initiatives, including standardized stillbirth evaluation pathways, human milk feeding education optimization, and improving multidisciplinary prenatal care and delivery for complex fetal anomalies. Upon completion of her fellowship, she is excited to join the University of Rochester Medical Center.
