Citlali Lopez B.S. is a second-year medical student in the UCSF San Joaquin Valley PRIME Program. They are currently working on exploring seasonal patterns of gastroschisis and its potential associations with pesticide application during the critical window of development. Their academic interests center on how environmental exposures shape reproductive and perinatal health. Through this work, they aim to contribute to preventive strategies, public health awareness, and evidence-based policy related to environmental risk factors for congenital anomalies.
