Bridget Galati DO, FASAM is an assistant professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. As a perinatal psychiatrist for the Perinatal Behavioral Health Service, she treats peripartum individuals with psychiatric conditions. In the Clinic for Acceptance, Recovery and Empowerment in Pregnancy (CARE), she treats perinatal patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. She works as a consultant for the Missouri Maternal Health Access Project (MHAP). She is dually boarded in psychiatry and neurology and addiction medicine and has additional certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). Her research has been published in Obstetrics and Gynecology, among other journals. She is passionate about improving clinical outcomes for perinatal patients, especially those with substance use disorders.
