Resident physician
Soroka medical center, Israel
My name is Dr. Rachel Rappaport. I am a third year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at Soroka Medical University in Beer Sheva, Israel. I completed my medical degree at the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University, where a major focus was placed on global health. I have since completed my internship year and began my residency at Soroka, a leading tertiary medical center serving Israel’s Southern region, managing thousands of pregnant women and deliveries each year. Soroka’s large and diverse population enables long-term follow-up and observation of clinical outcomes in pregnant women and their offspring.
My professional interests focus on maternal-fetal medicine, with a dedication to improving women’s health outcomes and addressing the complexities of pregnancy and infant care. I am also passionate about researching the fetal origins of adult disease. Soroka’s reputation as a center of excellence motivates me to contribute to advancing knowledge in Obstetrics & Gynecology and to make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of women in the Southern region and beyond.
