Gabriel Arenas, MD is an assistant professor in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University. He subsequently completed his medical school at Northwestern University and his OBGYN residency at the University of Chicago. His clinical interests include fetal growth restriction, stillbirth, cardiac disease in pregnancy, and prenatal diagnosis. His research interests include placental imaging, medical device development, and identifying novel ultrasound-based imaging techniques to predict adverse pregnancy outcomes.
