Dr. Chirumbole grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She obtained her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained her MD from Washington University School of Medicine where she was elected to AOA. Dr. Chirumbole completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. During residency, she was a member of the Academy of Resident Educators, a group of residents dedicated to improving medical student education and helping other residents become better teachers. She is currently a third-year Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research interests include hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, quality improvement, placenta accreta spectrum, and medical student education.
