Dr. Angela Essa, MD, is a Resident Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Massachusetts Chan - Baystate Medical Center. She attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2017. She then attended the University of Massachusetts T.H. Chan School of Medicine and graduated in 2023. Her interests include cardiac disease, hypertensive disorders, and hematologic conditions in pregnancy. She will be presenting her project titled, "Maternal and Fetal Outcomes and Anticoagulation Use in Pregnancies Affected by Mechanical Heart Valves."
