Hyeong Jun Ahn, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of the Biostatistics Core Facility in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, John A. Burns School of Medicine. He provides leadership in biostatistical support, research design, and data science across multiple NIH-funded programs focused on improving health equity in Hawaiʻi and underserved communities. His work includes advanced analytics using EHR data, community-engaged research infrastructure development, and mentoring investigators and trainees in rigorous quantitative methods.
