Dr. Gal Cohen is a Senior Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, received the Rector's Award for Excellence in 2011, and graduated with top honors.
She completed her OBGYN residency at Meir Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel, and is currently in her first year as resident in Prenatal diagnosis and Medical Genetics at Mount Sinai Hospical, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Gal Cohen is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology whose research focuses on Obstetrics, Gynecology, Genetics, and Fertility. She has authored over 40 publications in leading journals, presented at more than 10 international scientific meetings, and received several research grants. Dr. Cohen has foundational expertise in biostatistics and machine learning and is actively engaged in multiple international research collaborations. She is the Founder and Head of the LGBTQ Gynecological Clinic at Meir Medical Center, which provides comprehensive reproductive and gender-affirming care, reflecting her leadership in clinical service development and commitment to healthcare equity.
