Marya Rana, MPhil is a third-year medical student at Harvard Medical School, applying into OB/Gyn this fall. She is originally from San Diego, CA and completed her undergraduate studies at Williams College, followed by graduate degrees in Population Health Sciences and the Sociology of Marginality and Exclusion at the University of Cambridge, supported by a Herchel Smith Fellowship. She has a longitudinal interest in intergenerational health equity and hopes to eventually become a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician focused on birth equity both domestically and globally.
