Brooke is a fourth-year medical student applying to OB/GYN residency. Originally from Wisconsin, she is the oldest of four siblings and has lived in North Carolina for the past four years with her partner and beloved Labrador retriever. Her academic interests include medical education, patient communication, and trauma-informed care. She has received multiple awards for teaching and research and has presented work on social media misinformation and trauma-informed care. Brooke hopes to pursue a career as an academic OB/GYN, with interests in developing medical school curricula and mentoring future OB/GYN trainees.
